Beyond the Infinity
French Architect Serge Salat designed this labyrinth with series of mirror rooms which was inspired by Yi King. Salat wanted to change of experience of time with music and lighting, from dawn to sunset. The reflecting surfaces create an never ending space for people to wonder as they walk around.
The show is touring around China, and will be exhibiting 3 days per city. It is in Dalian starting today, Xi-An on the Oct 21st, Zhengzhou on Oct 28th, Shenzhen on Nov 4th and ending at Hangzhou.
I will be making my way to Shenzhen on Nov 4th, let me know if you want to join. :)

I remember when I first walked by this building on Bowery and Spring with my friend Tim a few years back. He told me that this seemingly decrepit building was one of the best purchases in the city’s history: A photographer had bought it in the early 1970s for about $102,000! A HOUSE! IN MANHATTAN! With 72 Rooms!
The exterior looks abandoned but NY Mag featured the home a while back along images of the incredible interior. Enjoy!
First of all the exterior does not look abandon… Second. The interior IS AMAZING, just look the the high ceiling….. *drooling*
PS I wish I could have a water tower on my roof. How amazing is that. (sorry for my lack of vocab. Idk what is other word that I can use other than… Amazing… coz it’s not JUST cool or awesome. It’s Amazing… )
